Anna Wed is Playing On Thursday This Week.

Just Chillin' Anna SwimmingI was extremely worried about Anna would handle this trip. She amazed me. She completely enjoyed herself. Up until the last half of Tuesday, she was still the happy girl she always is. She did get a bit tired on Tuesday during the last 5 hours of travel. However, the rest of the time it was a grand adventure to her. She stared at trees for hours, pointing and saying, see. She is talking a bit more where we can understand her. Either that or I am now able to understand baby gibberish more.

Of course, for most of the trip, I was in a different car than she was but I was told how good she was. I did ride with her a bit on Monday.

On Tuesday, when we got here, my great nephew, Ethan, that lives with my sister, was here to “get Momo.” He is just the most adorable little boy, with curly hair, just as curly as Anna’s. Now he is a hugger and loves kisses. He is 6 months older than Anna. He hugged and kissed Anna so much that she just started pushing him away. Other than that, they had a blast playing together before they left to go home.

I was worried about how she would handle the changes. She seems to be doing fine. Of course, she went from having a 4ft x 2 ft. place to roam to having a huge house with open floor plan to run around in. She goes from living room, thru the dining room, thru the kitchen, and out to the covered porch and back again about 3 or 4 times every hour.

My mother has a pool, so yesterday afternoon. Anna “swam” for the first time. I would be worried about the pool but my mother is paranoid about the kids getting it in and there is no way to get in without someone unlocking the gates. Back to what I was saying, Anna loved the pool. She did not want to be in the boat, baby float, for very long so we held her. She was unhappy with that though. All the other older kids were swimming on their own.
